Biography

I have been a photographer for over 30 years. Operating as a semi-professional for the last 15 years or so, I have recently made the jump to be a full-time professional photographer.

Now based in Norfolk, we have just completed our move from Winchester, Hamphire

Born in Wiltshire, raised in Cornwall and lived the last 20 years in Hampshire - I love the countryside and in particular, the sea. As a result, a lot of my personal work, and my commercial fine art and stock photography, is landscape oriented.

Although trained and qualified as a research chemist, after 7 years I moved into the Defence IT business where I served a sentence of nearly 25 years. Photography has always been my passion and release from the everyday grind - now at last I get to do it full-time.

My Work

During my 30 years as a photographer I have won awards in national competitions and have had work published in a number of magazines. More recently, through Trevillion Images, my images have been used as book covers in countries ranging from the USA, Canada, Germany and the Netherlands.

I am a member of the SWPP & BPPA (the fastest growing worldwide association for professional photographers) - shortly to make a submission to their qualification system that is recgnised throughout the photographic industry.

I have been selling framed and mounted fine art prints of my work at shows across the south coast for the last 4 years and I am in the process of setting up an online gallery/shop (Photinic Images) to broaden the base of this side of my business.
